We're very glad to inform you that The Rewear Company is among the TOP 5 finalists of the Fashion For Change, rewarded with €15K, an EU programme co-financed by COSME!
Fashion for Change called all innovative and sustainable fashion projects to apply to their accelerator programme in 2022 and received more than 170 amazing project proposals from 32 countries. The programme gained the attention of hundreds of creative startups, designers, and SMEs throughout Europe and beyond. 25 European sustainable fashion-tech teams were selected for the Fashion for Change 2022 Growth Programme that kicked off in September 2022, and the final pitching happened on the 14th of March in Vilnius.
For us, the programme has opened a door to valuable mentorship sessions with Tamsin Lejeune (founder of Common Objective), Reet Aus (Ph.D & founder of Aus Design), and Greta Mostavice (co-founder and CEO at Katalista Ventures). Pushed us to speed up our business growth, helped with impact analysis, R&D and pitch deck preparations, and intros to investors.
The growth in 8 months after soft-launching our pilot marketplace in Estonia and finishing the Fashion For Change programme:
- +760% new suppliers (received almost 3000 products from 43 lenders)
- Studied 10+ paying customers who tested our service
- 35% CMGR (compounded monthly growth rate)
