A Heartfelt Goodbye & Thank You!

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being part of our journey and contributing to the pilot project of The Rewear Company's innovative and circular-economy-driven service in Estonia!

In the summer of 2022, we launched a one-of-a-kind children’s clothing rental service that, by the end of 2024, held over 12,000 new and preloved garments. We built the entire system from scratch: inventory and warehouse management, reverse logistics— including returns, cleaning, and redistribution—payout systems, and much more. We were delighted to collaborate with Breden, Safal Kids, and Lulu Kids, and received a lot of support from our community.

At the end of 2024, we developed an AI-powered Yaga listing automation to expand into the resale market and adopted a more sales-oriented strategy. We developed the service hand in hand with our customers, fulfilling over 1,600 orders and recirculated more than 3,000 products. The best sales month for us was May 2025 when our GMV skyrocketed with an incredible 487% YoY growth, and our operating revenue followed close behind at 480% YoY growth.

Our work and dedication received independent recognition, including winning the Climate Launchpad Estonia final, being named one of Europe’s top 5 sustainable fashion startups by Fashion for Change, reaching the top three in the Circular Economy category at the Baltic Sustainability Awards, and being selected for the prestigious Beamline Accelerator program. Through this journey, we gained invaluable experience and insights into scaling our service to larger markets.

What's to Happen? ➡️

To focus on expansion, we paused our Estonian service earlier this year in hopes of finding a local team to continue building on the strong foundation we’ve created. As no suitable team was found, we have decided to close the Estonian business at the end of the year.

Some of your clothes are still with us. Please let us know what you would like us to do with them latest by 14th of December:

• I would like the clothes returned;

• I agree to donate my clothes to the Red Cross.

Please note that we will charge 4.90 € per shipment for the delivery. If we do not receive a response by this date, we will assume you consent to donate the items.

Final Payouts & Gift Card 🎁

We’ve completed payouts to suppliers who had successfully connected their bank accounts to our Stripe gateway. If you’re still waiting for your payment, now is the last time to reach out and finalise everything but please note that all payouts will now include a 2 € transaction fee unless you are able to provide an invoice. 

Our proposal is to forgo payouts under 10 €, as they create additional administrative work and financial costs, and instead offer a 10 € Safal Kids gift card. Please let us know if this arrangement works for you.

Important: We are also offering this gift card to everyone who chooses to donate their clothes.
